Today IT makes an important rule in our life. IT makes our life more easier. Government of India gives maximum contribution to enhance IT infrastructure in India. Many activities in which government played their important role. For example :
In Education Sector : Government changes their school and colleges syllabus according to the current scenario of IT. That helps the students to understand what trends are presently going on.
Government provide world class education for student through IIT's and NIT institutions.
Govt. provide IT infrastructure . STPI is a good example of that. STPI is Software Technology Park in India which was established in 1991 that provide IT Services.
Government provide many portals like NIC, NTPC for designing and developing various IT products.
Government is also trying to reduce the deployment duties charges like rebate in export and import duties or custom charges.
Govt. also provide knowledge of IT in rural areas.
Hence, Govt. contributing in IT through many institutions around the world.
