Government's contribution to IT

I think there is very less contribution of government to IT sector.whenever any company wants to establish an industry then it has to pay lots of duty,so only few companies can afford these charges.
After getting duty the government has no control over these industries and leave it for MNC's .How these MNC's operate this sector it depends on the MNC's it self.
The development in the IT sector is not due to the government it is because of some talented and well educated persons.
One other point is that in the rural areas there is no basic computer education provided by the government. All the schemes and programs are in papers only. There is no implementation og these schemes.
So,the conclusion is that, the government should try to do more contribution to IT sector.

Government Contribution to IT Industry

As the Topic is Government Contribution to IT Industry Well I think that Government is not Contributing as much as they should do,In India IT Industry has to pay a lot of duty for establishment of Industry and even they have to survive with govt policies and govt pressure
I think that IT revolution has taken place not b'coz of govt but due to sheer diligance and hardwork of educated people. If all things get handover to govt then there would be only the involvement of dirty politics
FOR EX:Govt pressured the industry for giving the reservation to SC/ST in Private sector
If we'll talk about history then from past 30 years we are dependent upon govt what govt has done we all know the progress and amendments that gov has done .no facilities like computer education if the tender pass then it get through in the hands of politicians all wants money and take money .hence the process takes another 10 years to pass tender hence no progress in rural areas because that people r in the hands of govt .hence if govt is not contributing in our country as other country govt does.it needs to be improved and processes should be fast and steady up to some extent and should be taken care of all people in rural areas to make them literate with computer then only can india can achieve success like other country .

Govt. contribution in IT

Goverment much contribute in IT sector.Govt. launch many policies to encourage people in IT field.Govt. add the computer education in primary school education.Govt open the Rajiv Gandhi computer education center to aware the people about computer.
govt open the many engineering colleges like IIT,IIIT,NIT etc...
now a day we see that every office work done by computer.Every bank has computerize.
Govt provide the low cost land to MNCs in the policy of SEZ(special economy zone).
Thus Govt contribute to IT field.

Gonernment contribution to I.T.

Towards government contribution to it , i want to say that the government is not contributes properly as much as they can. The private sector is doing well for IT, many private companies
in India are doing well , giving many jobs and this is good for our youth, but government sector
is not giving there full support. In India there is not the basic IT infrastructure is established
in rural areas. The rural citizen of India are very far from the I.T., they do not know about the
IT basics
So this is government duty to provide IT education in rural area .If government sector and private sector is doing there job properly ,the day is not far when India is the hub of IT.

Government contribution in IT

Government is increseing the IT infrastructure, government don't take good decision like as satyam company do the fraud with the people but government don't take good decision so that in the future any company don't do.
In the Rajasthan, basundara raje is increasing the IT sector(SEZ) in jaipur and Ashok gahlot will be open the many college like as IIT,IIM and metro train project is also working.
Government is also try to increase the IT sector.
Late Rajiv Gandhi started the IT sector in india and In the India IT sector is many opportunity to the youth.
VNSL is the governement project and It is the backone of the internet.
so that India is growing now and ression has almost gone.

Govt. contibution in IT

Hello everyone,A very good morning.
As per our topic for group discussion is "Govt contribution in IT"
I am the favour to this topic.IT industury came because of late Raajeev Gandhi,he was tring to get computer in INDIA.most of oppsition parties walkout from parliament, they said Gandhi want to kill man power. But Raajeev Gandhi brought computer in India.now India is supplicating IT GURUS to the world.
Govt. contibute in IT sector as providing IT procucting cheap by reducing the import duties and facilating available in IT companies.where as eg.satelite links etc.
It contributes in EDUCATION.It relates courses in slybus which help to build workspace for IT sector.Lots of engeeniering colleges are conducting for it.
It contributes in communication too.like VSNL(videsh sanchar nigam ltd.)complete internet technology in INDIA which is govt and project.now MTNL is also in processing.
Before in 1991 profit was because of IT was us$60 billion, but noe excepectation are us$225 billion in 2020.so govt is giving facilty all over the Inia to groom in It sectoer.and providing facilties to it.

SUMMARY:-As per the whole disscusion I was the favour to govt contribution.but in my opinion India needs contribution from both side(govt. and as well with private too).because MNC hire the people which are private sectorized and govt supports in policies, less duties in importing and exporting and giving facilities over the education.so both contribution will create great enviornment for our country in feild of It.

Government contribution to IT

I think that the contribution of Government to IT is almost negligible.
The infrastructure is not so good. These are the private entrepreneurs that have put their efforts for the progress of IT sector.
Even if somebody wants to set up his own IT business, there is lot of stress and pressure of government to setting a new business.
The laws and rules have to be clear enough and specific enough to provide the confidence to the developers of IT industry.
Government has a responsibility to provide the legal and regulatory environment to encourage the development and use of IT.
